- Dr. Ben Mudgett (He/Him) Chair and Faculty Pride Center Coordinator- I am the full-time faculty Articulation Officer serving to ensure equitable and streamlined transfer pathways to the baccalaureate for Palomar College students through innovative curricular and program design. I’m also a professor in the Business department and the faculty coordinator of the Pride Center. I recently completed my EdD through San Diego State University where I dedicated my dissertation to understanding and uplifting the lived experiences of queer Latino men in California community colleges and how colleges play a role in activating their salient identities. I’m a queer activist, husband, father of two daughters, and a coconspirator in deconstructing contradictory and illusionary spaces for learning and and a co-creator in building spaces that are inclusive of queer intersecting identities where our students may learn, heal, and live their authentic lives. I look forward to collaborating in the designing of inclusive learning spaces to empower the intersecting identities of our community and build spaces for learning, healing, and authentic being. We have an exciting year ahead as we grow out the center across the district.
