History 101 includes a study of the political, economic, social, and cultural developments of the United States with emphasis on: colonization, the American Revolution, adoption of the Constitution, westward expansion, the growth of nationalism, the slavery question, the Civil War, and Reconstruction.

Assignments

There are two writing assignments. One are very short, plus a short paper.

Grading

There are 525 possible points between the four tests and the writing assignments. Percentage grade range

90 — 100 = A

80 —   89 = B

70 —   79 = C

60 —   69 = D

0  —   59 = F
