STUDENT ENGAGEMENT PROJECT
Want to get PD hours or a $200 stipend to be part of a cohort of 10 faculty tackling a common data set regarding our own Palomar students?
The Student Engagement Project is designed to help students build quantitative skills by using data that relates to them! In Spring 2018, Palomar administered the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) which measures student involvement in learning and support activities across the college. We are seeking ten faculty members from various disciplines to incorporate CCSSE results into their courses through student projects. All participants will share their experiences as part of a final student engagement summit.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Any faculty who would like to include data and quantitative reasoning into their Spring course.
