More Than a Fashion Show
MODA Design and Fashion Show is Palomar College’s annual celebration of student creativity, innovation, and design. While the show’s centerpiece remains the original collections presented by our Fashion Design students, MODA has evolved into a broader showcase of design across the department.
In addition to the fashion collections, the event now features work from Architecture, Interior Design, and Cabinet and Furniture Technology (Woodworking/CFT), highlighting the many ways design shapes the spaces, objects, and experiences around us. This expanded format reflects the collaborative and interdisciplinary nature of design and gives attendees the opportunity to experience student work across multiple creative fields in one dynamic event.
MODA honors the talent, dedication, and vision of our students while showcasing the strength of Palomar College’s design programs. From garment design and construction to spatial concepts, interiors, and handcrafted furnishings, the event celebrates both individual artistry and the shared foundation of design thinking that connects these disciplines.
