Training Opportunities
Whether you have extensive experience with WordPress or none at all, please take a moment to peruse this page. You’ll find WordPress materials, pathways for technical support, information on training options, links to web-related resources, and much more. The goal of the ATRC web staff is to help the Palomar College WordPress community become successful at managing and maintaining their websites. We are committed to partnering with you to reach this goal through a variety of training efforts:
- 3PD Portal: ATRC offers a variety of WordPress and WordPress plugins workshops through the 3PD Portal, which can be found within the Single Sign-on Portal.Once at the portal, choose Learning > Workshop Calendar and search for “WordPress”. Available workshops will display in the results.
- Individualized Sessions: These training sessions are currently held via ZOOM and can be booked through the ATRC Appointment Page.
- The on-demand video training library, below, is continually growing. Please take a moment to browse or search the contents.

The (New) WordPress Block Editor
The WordPress Block Editor delivers a rich and flexible editing experience. Though we’ve been using the Block Editor for a while, as of January 2023 Palomar fully adopted the Block Editor as the core WordPress editor and the legacy Classic Editor is no longer supported.
