Now is the time! Come study in the TLC. You can study independently, with a friend, or a classmate. Use one of our study rooms that has a large screen TV and whiteboard. Enjoy the views from the 4th floor and all of the natural light. TLC is the place to be no matter your grades.

Walk-in tutoring is available and it’s FREE! TLC Rancho Bernardo offers tutoring to ALL Palomar College students.

Study habits are important. One good study habit is getting reading the material before your lecture. This will introduce you to the topic in a way that allows you to think of questions that might be answered during lecture. Once you are done with lecture, another good habit is to ask questions. If you don’t ask a question that you have, it might not be answered. Faculty office hours and tutoring are great ways to make sure your questions are answered.

The TLC is the perfect place for all currently enrolled Palomar College students to study. We have open study spaces, study rooms with large TVs to discuss presentations with classmates, and tutoring. Come check us out on the 4th floor in the Rancho Bernardo Center to use our resources.

It can be a bit overwhelming or distracting if you study at home. Come to the TLC in RB (4th floor) to study! We have plenty of study space including study rooms. All Palomar College Students are welcome to use our resources. Enjoy the views, comfortable seating, printing, and more…

The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) Rancho Bernardo has laptops and printing available to all registered Palomar College students. Come in and check out a laptop.  Need to print?  You can do that here too.

In fact, you can do a lot in the TLC:

• Receive FREE tutoring in English/writing, math, and science.
• study independently
• print in black and white or color
• check out a laptop and a calculator to use in the TLC
• Use a collaborative group study room with a Whiteboard and smart technology

Did you know that students who work with a tutor on a regular basis are likely to receive one grade higher than just working alone?  The Rancho Bernardo TLC is a space for all registered Palomar College students.  A student can take classes in San Marcos and work with a tutor in Rancho Bernardo.  All tutoring is completely free!
