Fall 2016 Tarde de Familia Event A Great Success!
The Association of Latinos and Allies for Student Success (ALASS) organizes Palomar College’s Tarde de Familia every fall and spring. We are happy to share that the event on Friday, September 30th was very successful, bringing together more than 300 attendees including students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members. The theme of our Tarde de Familia event this semester was Small Business/Entrepreneurship. Our Palomar families had a great opportunity to learn from the personal/career journeys of two successful entrepreneurs as well as from one of our very own students studying Business and several other small business owners in the community. Thank you to everyone that helped to make this event possible. We are looking forward to other successful events in future and hope that you can join us in the spring!
