Skillshop: Riding the Wave of Agentic AI as a College Student- VIRTUAL ONLY

February 26 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm PST

AI isn’t just answering questions anymore—it’s taking action. This lecture introduces agentic AI: systems that can plan, reason, use tools, and execute multi-step tasks autonomously. As a college student, you’re entering a world where AI assistants won’t just help you brainstorm—they’ll research, draft, and build alongside you. We’ll explore what makes agentic AI different from traditional chatbots, covering tool use, reasoning loops, and human-AI collaboration. You’ll learn to think critically about both their capabilities and limitations. The session features a live demo of OpenClaw, showing agentic AI tackling real tasks from research to document creation. See what’s possible today—and what questions you should be asking. No prior AI experience required. You’ll leave with practical insight into how to ride this wave rather than get swept up by it.

This skillshop will be offered virtually via Zoom. To register click on the RSVP button below.

Skillshops are FREE and open to all Palomar College students.
