The only way to request use of a district facility is by creating a Facilitron account and submitting a request online. Please click HERE for an introduction to placing a request. What is the capacity of the Community Room?
The community room can accommodate up to 155 people and has approximately 2400 square ft. Renting half the community room space is also possible.

What setup options are available?
The tables and chairs are arranged to your preference, please indicate setup preference at facilitron.com under “Setup Instruction” and provide as many details as possible. We recommend uploading a diagram under “Documents.” Contact the EventsScheduler@palomar.edu or call 760-744-1150, Ext. 3450 if you need any assistance.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes, outside catering is allowed. Please include under “Setup Instruction” the number of tables to setup for catering items.
Can we use the computer/projector in the Community Room?
Yes, computer/projector use is available. You can connect your own laptop without Palomar credentials. If you need to login to a Palomar computer, you must work with our Information Systems Department for a temporary username/password once your event has been approved.
If you require additional support from Information Services such as microphones (handheld, lapel, podium), computer, large screen monitor or aux cables, please submit the Audio Visual Events Equipment Request Form. The form must be completed 2 weeks prior to the event. If your event is after hours or on a weekend, an overtime charge may be required.
What supplies do you provide?
All supplies must be provided by the renter. Palomar College Rancho Bernardo Education Center is not responsible for providing tablecloths, supplies, copies, easels, props, or any other items for presentations.
How does the approval process work?
Although the process of requesting/approval/management of facility use is digital, what’s implemented on Facilitron remains the same as dictated by the Palomar Community College District’s board policies on facility use. The district’s administrative staff makes final decisions on all facility use requests.
How does the accounting process work?
Facilitron will assist with the set-up of organization and user accounts along with verification of non-profit status (if applicable). Facilitron will also collect payment and proof of insurance (certificate of insurance) on Palomar Community College District’s behalf. Payments can be submitted conveniently on Facilitron. Payment options include major credit cards, checks, ACH/eCheck, and Paypal. Proof of insurance (certificate of insurance) can also be conveniently uploaded into the system, and/or it can be obtained directly through Facilitron.
