SCHOLARSHIP DEFINITION
The PACRA Scholarship is designed to provide finanical assistance to qualified students planning to attend Palomar College. One scholarship will be presented to the qualified winner at the annual Honors Night Ceremony held in the Spring Semester of each year. The scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis.

 

AWARDThe selected student will receive a tuition scholarship of $1000. An award of $500 will be made in Fall Semester and additional $500 in the Spring Semester.

CRITERIA: APPLICANT MUST

  • be a relative of a PACRA member in good standing
  • be enrolled full-time in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 at Palomar College (exclusive of Kinesiology classes unless required by the major)
  • have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • demonstrate school and/or community leadership and service

HOW TO APPLY

  • Current Palomar College students apply online at Palomar College Financial Aid
  • NEW Palomar College students must file an online application to obtain a Palomar College ID NUMBER PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP. The online application can be completed at

Application Dates 2020

  • The Palomar College 2021/2022 Scholarship Application has now closed. Applications were accepted until 3/8/2021. The 2022/2023 application will be available in January 2022.
  • Application End Date: March 8, 2021
  • The PACRA Scholarship Committee will make its decision in early April 2021 and the scholarship will be awarded at The Palomar College Honors Night to he held in May 2021.
