PACRA Board Honors Three Retiring Members

The Palomar Board of Directors paid tribute to 3 retiring
Board members at a luncheon held at the Spaghetti
Factory in San Marcos on Thursday, Oct. 18. Dr. Omar
Scheidt, Jean Huston and James Clayton are all retiring
from the Board for health reasons. Both Omar Scheidt
and Jean Huston are charter members of PACRA and have
served on the Board since 1991. All 3 received an
engraved plaque as a tokenof appreciation for their long
and distinguished service to PACRA and its Board of
Directors

PACRA Members Enjoy Planetarium Show

PACRA members were treated to a special showing at the new Palomar College Planetarium on Saturday, October 27. Thirty-seven members attended the one hour showing featuring the dual programs of The Sky Tonight and a full dome feature entitled The Secret Lives of Stars. Mark Lane, the Planetarium director, conducted the show.
