Information Sessions

All Information Sessions cover an overview of all aspects of Palomar College, no matter the location of the Information Session.

Outreach Services works with prospective students at any stage in their career or educational journey. Our information sessions welcome prospective students from career changers to high school students, to re-entry and adult students, to military and veterans, to those who solely want to brush up on a skill or two. We also welcome the family members or support system that will walk with them as they continue their educational goals.

Information Sessions Details:

  • 60-90 minute walking campus tour and/or presentation for families, individuals, and guest
    • You are welcome to attend both or just one activity
    • The campus tour begins at 3:30PM and presentation will begin around 5PM
      • Both of these activity will be at the Multidisciplinary Building (MD) Room 157

  • Palomar College (San Marcos Campus) is located at 1140 West Mission Road, San Marcos, California 92069.
  • One of our staff members will meet you at  at the Multidisciplinary Building (MD) Room 157.

Parking

  • Visitor parking is available in Lots 1, 2 and 12.
    • If you have a smartphone, you must download the Park Mobile app to pay. The Park Mobile zone number for visitor spaces are: San Marcos 7514, Escondido 7511, Rancho Bernardo 7513, Fallbrook 7512. The rate is $1 for 1 hour, up to 4 hours.
    • If you do not have a smartphone you can call 877-727-5932 to pay, or if there are any operating meters, you have the option to either pay for parking by meter or Park Mobile.
  • If you are able to arrive thirty minutes prior to the Information Session, a free parking pass is available through Campus Police by Lot 12. [NOTE: Must show valid ID and not be enrolled in current semester to receive free parking pass]

COVID-19 Safety Information:

  • All visitors are REQUIRED to complete a health pre-screening questionnaire BEFORE stepping on campus
