Exam Proctoring Services

  • The Math and Science Learning Center (MSLC) has a proctoring room that is available for use by all instructors. You may have students come in to take a makeup exam, or bring in a few students who have not yet finished their in-class exam so they can finish.
  • To have a student take an exam in MSLC, please fill out a Makeup Test Form available at the front counter in the Center. Attach the test to the form and leave it with the counter staff or in your Instructor Folder behind the counter.
  • Your student needs to bring a photo ID (Driver’s License, Palomar ID card, etc.) to the Center to take the exam.  We will NOT administer an exam without photo ID.
  • No appointment is required for students, but they must come in during the designated exam window set up by their instructor.  Students can drop in any time during the center hours to take the exam as long as students leave themselves enough time for the exam.
  • Proctoring is available Monday through Thursday from 8:10 am to 7:55 pm, Fridays 8:10 am to 1:55 pm, and Saturdays 9:10 am to 12:55 pm during the Fall and Spring semesters; Monday through Thursday 8:10 am to 4:55 pm during the Summer semester.
  • Please remind your students to give themselves ample time to finish their exam before closing. Signing in to the exam center can take a few minutes as well, so they should plan ahead.
