I am writing to encourage you all (PT faculty, FT faculty, and all staff) to keep a personal emergency kit in your car and/or work area in the unlikely event of a campus emergency.  Your kit should contain a flashlight, back-up eyeglasses and medications, sturdy shoes, a sweater or sweatshirt, a wrapped snack and water packet, and personal emergency contact numbers.

If you are interested in being a member of the Humanities Building Emergency Team, we are looking for people who teach or work in the building after 5 p.m. and on Saturdays.  Please contact me with further questions — x2251 or by email ssivert@palomar.edu.
