Karen Buehler – Karen retired after the spring semester of 2020. She was hired as the temporary ADA of the Biology Department in 1995, and in 1997 was hired full-time in Community Services, where she oversaw the state-run Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course for nine years.  In 2006 Karen became the permanent ADA for the Biology Department. Karen was an excellent ADA.  She proved over and over again to be dependable, knowledgeable, creative, friendly and caring.  It is difficult to imagine the Biology Department without Karen!

Chris Hall – Chris retired in 2013 after slaving long and hard in the interest of science – in a research lab at the University of Michigan Medical School and, after moving to California 22 years ago, Palomar College.  Retirement pursuits will include walking dogs for the Humane Society, creating a showpiece of an urban farm and writing.
