NewSchool of Architecture & Design is a for-profit college located in downtown San Diego offering degrees in the fields of architecture and design. NewSchool comprises two schools: The School of Architecture and Construction Management houses the undergraduate and graduate architecture and construction management programs while the Domus Academy School of Design at NewSchool offers undergraduate design degrees.

Palomar College Benefits & Affordability

NewSchool will provide a 15% reduction on the listed tuition fee for all Palomar
College students following the transfer guide options for the five-year architectural
program under conditions stated in this Agreement. This reduction of the tuition fee will
be applicable for the duration of enrollment at NewSchool.

NewSchool provides a 50% tuition reduction for all Palomar College students enrolled
in summer quarter coursework offered at NewSchool in order to fulfill first and second
year credit requirements as outlined in the Transfer Guide.
Student eligibility for reductions are subject to the student meeting all then-existing
NewSchool admissions criteria per the Academic Catalog.
A 15% reduction in tuition for the lifetime of the program will be awarded to all transfer
students from Palomar College upon meeting census requirements for each quarter.
Students receiving third year studio placement, but falling short on overall transfer
credits in design studio, building systems, and or environmental systems courses are
required to successfully complete a special twelve credit Integrative Architecture
Summer Session studio prior to entering the fall quarter studio of third-year.
