Upward Bound (UB) is a year-round comprehensive program that provides academic college preparation and retention. As a program we service students from North County High Schools. UB provides academic instruction, academic support, and promotes academic excellence to high-potential college bound students preparing to attend and graduate from an institution of higher education upon high school graduation.
Palomar College Upward Bound Program
UB is a federally-funded TRIO program through the U.S. Department of Education. The program originated nationally in 1964 to assist underrepresented students achieve their post-secondary education goals.
