Skillshop: AI Literacy: What Helps, What Hurts, What’s Allowed- VIRTUAL ONLY
February 17 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm PST
Dive into the practical and responsible ways to use AI in college. How to study, write, research, create, and do career preparation, while still upholding academic integrity. We will cover what AI can and cannot do well, how to evaluate AI-generated information for accuracy and bias, and how to use AI ethically while maintaining your own student’s voice and learning. We will also explore what “allowed use” really means in different classes, how to cite AI appropriately when required, and why human skills like critical thinking, creativity, and judgment matter more than ever in an AI-powered world.
This skillshop will be offered virtually via Zoom.
