Major & Future Career Goal: My major is Psychology and my future career goal (not 1000% sure yet but) I was thinking of becoming a therapist for younger children in hospitals.

Inspiration to complete college degree: Growing up, I saw my parents struggle daily just to get by. My father didn’t finish middle school, and my mom completed half of her freshman year while in Mexico. It was difficult for them to get jobs, which led to our family struggling financially. My biggest inspiration is to make my family proud. I do not want my kids to go through what I had to go through. I want to succeed financially and live a happy life. Thinking about my future and family is what keeps me going on days where I feel like completely giving up.

Major & Future Career Goal: I’m majoring in nursing and my future career goal is to become an accomplished nurse.

Inspiration to complete college degree:  I am the type of person that is inspired by many, but what drives me to complete my college degree is myself, I know that I am struggling with myself, however, that is what gets me going because I don’t want to disappoint myself and I want to be a better version of me. So having to complete my degree is for me to be proud that I did it and I was successful of in accomplishment.

Major & Future Career Goal: I want to major in Liberal Arts(Univ Studies) with an emphasis in education. I am still not 100% sure on my future career goal yet, but I want to do something with education, like maybe teaching or helping design a better education system for future students.

Inspiration to complete college degree: I’m interested in that sort of thing while also being interested in subjects such as activism, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, and psychology. Clearly I’m still pretty undecided on where my interests could take me or as to where and how can I further nurture and expand them. I guess what I generally want to do is find ways to create a more motivated and open-minded future generation. This is why I’m so willing to figure out what I want to do so I can graduate and finish my degree.

Major & Future Career Goal: My major is sociology. I want to be a guidance counselor or social worker. My reason for wanting to be a counselor is because I want to help kids the way m counselor helped me in high school. After Palomar college, I would like to transfer to UC Berkeley.

Inspiration to complete college degree: My inspiration to complete college is to prove to myself that I can do anything that I put my mind to. I would also like to show my mom that her sacrifices weren’t for granted.

Major & Future Career Goal: My future career goal is to earn my Bachelor’s degree followed by completing a Masters degree, a Doctorate degree as well as completing clinical training. After all these steps or goals have been completed I will work on becoming a Licensed clinical Psychologist and maintain my license.

Inspiration to complete college degree: My inspiration to complete my college degree is knowing that I will be able to help others just like I once had or was helped. Also knowing that I could help someone in the future with their life struggles as well as help them improve their way of living life is what keeps me motivated to complete my college degree.

Inspiration to complete college degree: My inspiration to complete my college degree is probably my family because i want a good career to be able to give them the best life. Another inspiration is just because i really love wood shop and building, crafting, and remodeling my room, and just modeling in general.

Major & Future Career Goal: I’m actually still undecided on what my major is as well as my future career goal.  I do know that I would like to finish college due to the fact my parents didn’t.

Inspiration to complete college degree: I want to be the first in my family to actually finish, my parents did attend college but didn’t complete it

Major & Future Career Goal: My name is Josh Morales. My major is digital broadcasting degree. My career goal is to be a video content producer for major sports companies like the MLB or Premier League. As well as companies for video games like IGN, Rooster Teeth, and 343 Industries.

Inspiration to complete college degree: My inspiration to complete my my degree comes from my aunt who was the first on my moms side to graduate from a university

Major & Future Career Goal: My name is Gregory Mendoza I am first generation Chicano to attend college, my Major is Sociology. My plan is to transfer to Cal State San Marcos then pursue a PhD.

Inspiration to complete college degree: My inspiration is my mother who raised me my brother and sisters. My mother taught me by working hard and being determined you can accomplish the goals you set yourself. My journey has had many bumps in the road but I am determined to accomplish my goals and pave the way for others in my family.
