- To join the Puente Program, please complete the Puente Student Interest Form
- Attend a Puente Information Session (dates listed below). Register here for Thursday sessions, and register here for Tuesday sessions.
- Sign the Puente Student Contract.
- Once received, you will be provided permission to join the courses.
- Attend an in person Puente Orientation on August 20th, new Puente students will be sent additional details.
- Puente students are required to take ENGL C1000E and COUN 110 Fall 2025, and take ENGL C1001 and commit to participating in transfer workshops Spring 2026.

- Students who are eligible for ENGL C1000E Fall semester
- Students who have not previously taken COUN 110
- Students who are interested in transferring to a 4-year university or college
- Students who are interested in learning about the Mexican-American, Latinx/e, Chicanx experience
- If all this applies, then you are eligible for the Puente Program!
- Access to their Puente counselor
- College trips and Cultural events
- Often awarded special consideration for transfer admission
- Understand the UC and CSU system of higher education
- Share in a learning community during their first year of college
- One on one mentoring
