Palomar College is a Regional Partner
For nearly 80 years, Palomar College has worked to develop and sustain important relationships throughout the northern region of San Diego County. It is with these partnerships that we have been able to serve the educational needs throughout the District.
The District is a member of the San Diego and Imperial Counties Community Colleges Association (SDICCCA). SDICCCA is a unique and collaborative organization of chancellors, superintendents, and presidents, who meet regularly to discuss regional and statewide initiatives that impact the ten community colleges in the region. The District is a founding member of the North County Education Alliance (NCHEA), a collaboration between California State University, San Marcos, MiraCosta College, and Palomar College that works to improve educational opportunities with an emphasis on student learning and the seamless transfer of students from lower to upper division programs. In addition, the District collaborates closely with the leaders San Diego State University, University of California San Diego, National University, and the University of Redlands, to benefit our students.
