Schedule 15-Minute Appointment Terms
Please review the information below before scheduling.
What You Can Discuss in a 15-Minute appointment
- Intended for general or specific questions that can be addressed in 15 minutes or less.
- Conducted by phone only.
- Limited to 1-2 questions per appointment.
- Please have your questions ready.
- You must be available to answer your phone at the scheduled appointment time. If you are unable to answer, your appointment will be considered missed, and you will need to reschedule.
- More complex questions may require a 1-hour appointment.
Examples of Quick Questions are:
- Math or English placement
- Class availability or course selection
- Withdrawal dates
- Course Repetition
- Registration dates
- How to add, drop, waitlist class
- Assistance with completing admissions, records, or evaluation forms
- Other general or specific questions that can be answered within 15 minutes or less.
The Following Are NOT 15-Minute Appointments
- Creating or updating an Education Plan
- Reviewing outside transcripts
- Reviewing graduation eligibility
- Comprehensive review of degree, certificate, or transfer requirements
- Financial aid appeals
Please schedule a 1-hour appointment with a counselor for these types of questions and services.
