Associate Degree Competency Graduation Requirements
The associate degree graduation requirements includes a set of core competencies associated with earning a Palomar College associate degree. Competence in American History and Institutions and California Government and Health and Fitness may be achieved by completing an eligible general education course in Area 4 Social and Behavioral Sciences or by completing an eligible course listed in the core competency area of American History and Instititions and California Government and Health and Fitness. Courses completed in GE Area 4 and are listed in graduation requirements may be double counted for GE Area 4 and the respective graduation requirement area.
