FREE Tutoring at STAR is available on a first-come, first-served basis for half hour per session.
1. Enroll on your first visit by filling out a short enrollment sheet at the front desk. Next, add yourself to the waitlist on the counter & await your turn with a tutor.
2. Once called or signaled by your tutor to log into the front desk computer, use your 9-digit student ID# to begin your session. Your tutor will assist in logging you in as needed. Don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your ID#, we’ll help you with that, too. After logging into the computer, find a comfortable space to work and begin your session.
3. To end your session, please log yourself out by retyping your student ID# at the front desk computer. If you need more help, add your name to the waiting list and repeat these steps, allowing one hour between sign-ups. Use this gap time to make corrections and revisions on your own.
