Hi, my name is Carla. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Women’s Studies at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), and I am currently working on my Teaching Credential at CSUSM.  My goal is to become a teacher and/or counselor someday. I like helping students with their Math, especially Algebra. I started working in a middle school as an Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) tutor seven years ago. It was a nice experience that motivated me to come work at the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC).
