Be Stress Free with EFT

October 1 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Flyer for a stress-reduction workshop using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), October 1, 2026, from 12–1:30 p.m. in the EDGE, H-112.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a blend of using cognitive psychology and tapping on acupuncture points to release many physical pains and negative emotions. It is used by therapists all over the world. When illness, injury, chronic stress, or trauma interrupts the energy flow in the meridian system, it becomes blocked. Backaches, fatigue, and other ailments start to surface. EFT works because it unblocks the energy system of the body through the use of tapping on specific body acu-points while the mind is focused on the memory, problem, stress, or pain.

Palomar Professor of Counseling, Tom Ventimiglia is EFT Certified. He has given EFT training to counseling professionals and therapists, presented workshops at community colleges and universities, and works in private practice. Participants can learn to use EFT on themselves to relieve test anxiety and other performance issues. There are over 100 peer reviewed, randomized studies that validate its success on anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and many other issues. See Tom’s website at
www.tappingintowellness.com

At this workshop, you will witness actual healing by participants who choose to volunteer to be helped on their issue. Use EFT to eliminate a headache, resentment, or whatever distresses you. Then you can take what you learn and use it anywhere, anytime.

EFT has been one of the most powerful therapeutic techniques in healing post-traumatic stress disorder.
