TRIO Student Support Services Program Information

Please join our TRIO Student Support Services Program Informational as we will be going over our program services, program eligibility’s, program application, and much more!! TRIO SSS is a federally funded program that is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Our main focus is to help student’s from disadvantage backgrounds (first-generation student’s, low-income student’s, or student’s with a disability) succeed in a post-secondary education. 

Understanding Depression & Suicide (SWAG)

The Student Wellness Advocacy Group invites you to learn about some of the triggers and risk factors associated with Depression and Suicide. The pandemic has added new layers of hardships to many of us, leaving us more vulnerable to developing issues with our mental health.

Skillshop: Transfer Center Services Overview

Are you considering Transferring to earn your Bachelor’s degree? Join the Transfer Center to learn about their free services, how to get connected to make the most out of your time at Palomar, book appointments, attend transfer focused events, access transfer counseling, and more! This brief presentation is your first step to your Transfer Success. Please come with questions as there will be plenty of time for Q & A following the presentation. Learn from us and learn from each other. 

 This spring, most Skillshops will be virtual via Zoom, unless otherwise noted. Registration will be required to participate in this Skillshop. Skillshops are FREE and open to all Palomar College students.
