Skillshop: Navigating Identity: First-Generation Latino Students Experiences (In-Person)
This workshop is designed for first-generation students at Palomar College who want to explore how their cultural background, family experiences, and personal values shape their college journey, while centering Latino experiences. Through guided reflection, discussion, and interactive activities, students will examine how their identities, including culture, language, family expectations, and lived experiences, connect to their sense of self, sense of belonging on campus, and the academic and career paths they choose.
