Rising Scholars meet as a group each Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. At this time, peer mentors facilitate the group and each attendee talks about their highs and lows for the week. Program staff also make announcements about events. Except for on Friday August 22, 2025, these check-ins take place in person at the Rising Scholars Center and on Zoom at https://palomar-edu.zoom.us/j/93351057338 . On August 22, the check-in will be on Zoom only. In-person check-ins will resume on Friday August 29, 2025. Participants are welcome to come to the check-ins for as little as or long as works for them.
