Deaf Awareness Month

September 1 - September 30
An illustrated American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet chart for Deaf Awareness Month. Each letter from A to Z is represented by a white hand demonstrating the corresponding ASL sign against a red background. The title "Deaf Awareness Month" appears at the top in white text on a black banner, and the Palomar College logo with the tagline “Learning for Success” is displayed in the upper right corner.

Recognizes the culture, history, and achievements of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. It also promotes inclusion, language accessibility, and respect for Deaf identity and American Sign Language (ASL).
