During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is essential for the Palomar College District to ensure the safety of all employees, students, and members of the community. Please use this plan to request approval of an on-site activity at any of the District’s locations. The plan will be reviewed and approved to ensure safety protocols are in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The District’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will track approved on-campus activities to coordinate the required sanitation and other operational requirements. Note that only 1 person can work on this form at a time. If you need to submit a request for a quick visit (30 mins or less) to the campus, please fill out the Essential Campus Visit Request form, which will be routed through the appropriate Vice President for approval. This section is intended to provide details for any classes requesting to have face-to-face instruction with students.

The Item Distribution Event plan is intended for departments requesting on-campus access to distribute items to students and others such as laboratory kits, computers and mobile devices, and other items.

This section is intended to be utilized for departmental requests for on-site activities other than Face-to-Face Instruction and Item Distribution Events. Examples: faculty video recording lectures with special equipment, Student Services departments performing duties that cannot be done virtually, or regular essential visits to the campus.
