What is Cal-GETC?

The California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC) is a series of courses that California community college students can complete to satisfy most, if not all, lower division general education requirements before transferring to the California State University (CSU) or University of California (UC). Take a look at the Cal-GETC requirements at Palomar College and learn more.

After completing Cal-GETC, your remaining coursework includes requirements for your major, upper-division general education requirements at the university, and electives if additional units are needed.
