A remix of Shakespeare’s The Tempest in reflection with the last line of the poem
on the statue of liberty, “Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my
lamp beside the golden door!” While honoring the language and magic of the
original play, this remix will lift up the themes of colonization and euro-supremacy
immanent in the text.
