Study skills in math and science are specific strategies designed to help students understand, retain, and apply concepts in these subjects effectively. In this workshop, students will learn some key components to succeed in both areas. Some Math study skills areas are practice problems, understanding concepts, note-taking, using resources, using formulas, and self-reflection. Some of Science study skills include active engagement, concept mapping, summarization, reading strategies, study groups, review concepts learned. By incorporating these math and science study skills, students can improve their performance and confidence in math and science, leading to a deeper understanding and appreciation of these subjects.
