Greetings Campus Community,

I would like to welcome you to Spring 2026 with an exciting announcement that the Palomar College Boehm Gallery will be reopening after several semesters of construction and renovations.

Our first exhibition, Systems Under Pressure, is an exhibition exploring the connection between Printmaking, Ethnic Studies, and Social Justice. This exhibition features works by print artists Malaquias Montoya, Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. and includes other print artists working in San Diego and California.

Opening reception February 19TH from 2-4and an opening ceremony from 5-7 pmfeaturing poetry and dance.

As part of this exhibition, we have been collaborating with Mira Costa College and Cal State San Marcos’ Art Departments and Ethnic Studies programs on a symposium scheduled for Feb 20th from 9 am – 5 pm. This symposium will feature print demonstrations, artist presentations, an artist panel, and a Community Artivist* Fair.
