James Hubble

Artist: Design by James Hubbell. Built by students of the Kairos Institute, Rancho Santa Fe.

Date: Originally built around 1964-65. Cut in half and moved to Palomar campus in 1971

Title: Unknown (Hubbell does not remember if title was given).

Dimensions: 145” x 320” x 203” Brick enclosed courtyard with chimney and cone shaped arches. Originally built as a stage.

Large three arched red brick sculpture using circular patterns covered in multicolored glass. Surrounding the structure, it has flagstone, tiles, and block concrete.  A stairway on the left, ends at the first arch. At the very top it has a white sphere surround by ribbon like metal.
