Student Success Workshops
The League of Women Voters (LWV) emphasizes that voting is crucial for empowering citizens and defending democracy. Elections affect every area of our daily lives, including health care, education, taxation, jobs and racial justice. By voting, citizens can choose leaders whose values and priorities align with their own. The LWV believes in empowering the next generation of voters because our youth are critical to the future health of our democracy. In a non-partisan way, we will help students understand the power of their voices and the importance of civic participation
