How can I help?

As the Instructional Designer serving as the Accessibility Specialist at Palomar College, my mission is to support all employees in creating inclusive, accessible, and engaging learning and working environments. With nine years of experience as a Disability Resource Center Counselor, I bring a student-centered lens that prioritizes equity and access in every aspect of instructional and institutional design. You may know me from my years facilitating the popular Access & Equity Hour weekly professional development, fostering campus-wide conversations about inclusion, universal design, and accessibility. In this new role, I collaborate with employees across the college to integrate accessibility best practices, optimize digital content, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards. Together, we can co-create experiences that remove barriers, celebrate diversity, and empower all members of our campus community to thrive.
