Odalys obtained B.A.'s in Psychology and Social Behavior & Criminology, Law, and Society from the University of California, Irvine. She is now pursuing her Master's of Social Work at Cal State San Marcos. Odalys has experience providing bilingual counseling for elementary aged students, collaborating with families, and has worked in outpatient settings serving college aged students. Odalys strives to advocate for marginalized and under-served populations, with a focus on cultural humility and empathy. Within the community college setting, Odalys is passionate about supporting students through this formative period by providing a welcoming space, collaboratively creating goals, and fostering emotional well-being to help students thrive academically and personally.
