Background

We invite all Palomar College instructional faculty to participate in the third Faculty Cultural Curriculum Teaching Institute (FCCTI) held as an asynchronous, self-paced Canvas course. This is an expanded opportunity for instructional faculty to address the completion and retention rates of disproportionately impacted students in their classes by interpreting data and using culturally responsive practices to enhance their classroom pedagogy and materials. 

Compensation

Participating faculty will receive a $578.58 stipend (6 hours at the C20 non-instructional faculty rate) upon successful completion of the FCCTI Canvas course.

Workshop Dates

The third FCCTI cohort will be held as an asynchronous, self-paced Canvas course. The third cohort will be comprised of instructional Faculty Members with diverse knowledge, backgrounds, and experiences to participate in the asynchronous training.

Deadline to complete asynchronous online training: June 1st at 11:59pm
Selections of the FCCTI Faculty Cohort Participants will be determined on a rolling basis.
