Archaeology Lab

The Archaeology Lab at Palomar College is an open facility for students studying archaeology. The lab has extensive artifact study collections form Southern California including both prehistoric artifacts such as lithic and faunal material and historic artifacts including bottles and ceramics.  The Archaeology Lab also houses a reference library and is used for teaching classes and holding meetings. The lab is open to visitors and is in the MD building on the first floor, MD-121.

Biological Anthropology Lab

The Biological Anthropology Lab at Palomar College main site is an open facility for students studying biological anthropology. The lab has an extensive collection of casts of non-human primates, hominin evolutionary fossils, bioarchaeological and forensic anthropology specimens. The lab is open to visitors by appointment and is in the MD building on the first floor, MD-124.
