Womens (5-8; 5-5 conference)

The Comets womens team lost 7-2 away to Riverside on Thursday. Be sure to check out the article in the next issue of the Telescope about freshman standout Bettinah Olah. The Comets next play Tuesday, March 31 when they travel to Mesa College.

Mens (5-10; 5-7 conference)

For the mens team unfortunately in was the same fortune as the women as they lost 7-2 away to Riverside. Just like the women though the Comets will have their chance to rebound this Tuesday, March 31 as they play hosts to Mesa College.

WOMENS TRACK AND FIELD

Palomar’s womens track and field team competed in the 37th annual Aztec invitational over Friday and Saturday. Jessican Bettancourt placed third in the 3k-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:30.07 while Sarah Martinez finished ninth with a 13:15.13.
