Karen Bryan has been involved in music education and performance for 42 years.  A graduate of La Sierra University (BA, MA in Music Education) and a credentialed teacher, she taught in private and public schools in Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange County, and in Valley Center Unified School District.  Joining Palomar’s Performing Arts Department in 1997, she directed the Women’s Chorus, teaches a class in Vocal Fundamentals, and Voice Students in the Applied Music program.

She has been privileged to perform under choral legends Roger Wagner, Paul Salamunovich, and Sir David Willcocks, and with the La Jolla Symphony Chorus, Palomar Chorale, the San Diego Choral Arts Ensemble, and the new Center Chorale in Escondido in ensemble or as soloist.

Karen and her husband, Ed, live in San Marcos with one cat who generously allows them the use of her house.
