Caro Pierotto – Concert Hour
Zoom CATen years ago, Caro Pierotto took a big chance. She put everything on the line in what turned out to be one of those fairy tale stories that Hollywood dreams are made of. It all began when she ditched a steady corporate paycheck, left behind family and friends, and traded her native Brazil for Los Angeles. Caro had it in her heart to write her own songs and to sing and perform. She put together a band, called it Marbella, and with the help of Latin Grammy Award-winning engineer and producer Alberto Lopez released Volta ao Mundo.

It’s Monumental . . . Ending the Silence
Zoom CAIt’s Monumental . . . Ending the Silence is a virtual arts and communications festival to engage our campus and community in a public dialogue. We will use Arts and Communications to explore the dynamics of racism/antiracism, anti-blackness, white supremacy culture and the fluid concepts that develop as we expand our understanding of these phenomena in our society. Works created across our campus and community will be the springboards for public forums and personal conversations as we grapple to understand the complexity of building and sustaining a multiracial democracy.
