A Wrinkle in Time
Zoom CAA Wrinkle in Time is the time bending, multi-dimensional story of Meg Murry, a high-school-aged girl who is transported on an adventure through time and space with her younger brother Charles Wallace and her friend Calvin O'Keefe to rescue her father, a gifted scientist, from the evil forces that hold him prisoner on another planet and threaten to overtake the universe with darkness. This compact, one-hour version captures the thrill and essence of the story in a format that is excellent for live theatre on Zoom.
Gunnar Biggs – Concert Hour
Zoom CAMandoBasso is a duo featuring Gunnar Biggs on bass and Bill Bradbury on mandolin. Biggs and Bradbury first came together as faculty colleagues working on projects at both Palomar College and Cal State San Marcos.
Biggs comes from a strong background in jazz and classical performance, Bradbury from a composition and computer music background. Their mutual love of Irish and traditional American music brought them together in this unique pairing of mandolin and bass. MandoBasso performances include mostly original compositions with
some traditional tunes, classical music, jazz and ragtime. MandoBasso's debut CD has been very well received.
Caro Pierotto – Concert Hour
Zoom CATen years ago, Caro Pierotto took a big chance. She put everything on the line in what turned out to be one of those fairy tale stories that Hollywood dreams are made of. It all began when she ditched a steady corporate paycheck, left behind family and friends, and traded her native Brazil for Los Angeles. Caro had it in her heart to write her own songs and to sing and perform. She put together a band, called it Marbella, and with the help of Latin Grammy Award-winning engineer and producer Alberto Lopez released Volta ao Mundo.

We will use Arts and Communications to explore the dynamics of racism/antiracism, anti-blackness, white supremacy culture and the fluid concepts that develop as we expand our understanding of these phenomena in our society. Works created across our campus and community will be the springboards for public forums and personal conversations as we grapple to understand the complexity of building and sustaining a multiracial democracy.
