A special shout out to the Comets womens basketball team and their head coach Leigh Marshall who picked up the California Community College Coach of the Year award this past weekend. Coach Marshall led Palomar to their best ever record, going 26-4 overall and 18-1 in PCAC, getting all the way to the Elite Eight round of the playoffs before bowing out.

Marshall was also honored as Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year earlier in the week.

Congrats on the amazing season ladies!!!
