NOTE: The Planetarium will be operating with a reduced schedule this Fall (one of our astronomers is on sabbatical). We are sorry for any inconvenience.
The Palomar College Planetarium is open to the public on Friday evenings. After the show guests are invited to join us on the planetarium patio for free viewing through our telescopes (weather permitting).
Important Notes!
- Shows often sell out ahead of time. We recommend that you purchase your tickets online so you are not disappointed.
- Each show is sold separately. You may purchase tickets for one or both shows.
- The shows start on schedule - late seating is not allowed!
- Seating is not assigned and is open to first come, first served. Arrive early to get the seats you want.
- Seating is limited to 142 visitors.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the planetarium theater.
- Due to the darkened environment and safety concerns, children under the age of 5 years old are not allowed in the Planetarium shows.
- All Planetarium shows are indoors and are unaffected by bad weather. The shows go on as planned - rain or shine!
- All ticket sales are final. No refunds are given for late arrivals or no-shows.
- DO NOT USE GOOGLE TO NAVIGATE! IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE WRONG PLACE
