Maps & Directions to the Planetarium

DO NOT USE Google to Navigate!

It will take you to the wrong place.

From Carlsbad, Oceanside, Camp Pendleton, Orange County, San Diego Coastal, and other Beach Communities:

Take I-5 to California Route 78 East.
Take the Las Posas Road exit and turn right at the stop light.
Turn right again onto Las Posas Road. Las Posas Road crosses Mission Road; turn right onto Mission Road.
Palomar College will be on your Left. Enter on “Comet Circle East” – the planetarium is on the left (just past the Library).

From Escondido, Fallbrook, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Riverside County, Temecula and San Diego Inland:

Take I-15 to California Route 78 West.
Take the Las Posas Road exit and turn right at the stop light.
Las Posas Road crosses Mission Road; turn right onto Mission Road.
Palomar College will be on your Left. Enter on “Comet Circle East” – the planetarium is on the left (just past the Library).

Parking permits are required 24/7 at Palomar College

However, for public planetarium shows on Friday evenings, free parking is available in LOT 5 only.

If you choose to park anywhere else on campus a “daily parking permit” ($5.00) must be purchased through the ParkMobile App. Details will be posted in each parking lot.
