Telescope Viewing on the Patio is FREE each Friday!
Each Friday when the planetarium is open to the public (and weather permits) we set up our telescopes on the patio for night sky viewing. Visitors to the planetarium are welcome to view current objects in the sky – many of which are discussed in our Sky Tonight show. Depending on the time of year, we turn our telescopes to the Sun, Moon, planets, and many deep sky objects visible from our location.
Remember:
- telescope viewing is always FREE and you are not required to purchase tickets for our shows to use the telescopes.
- we can’t see through clouds so when the weather is bad, we don’t set up the telescopes.
