Peter Gach – Concert Hour
Zoom CAPeter Gach is a pianist of wide-ranging musical interests. His repertoire extends from the complete Well-Tempered Clavier, Vol. II of JS Bach, to contemporary works written especially for him. He has premiered works by SoCal composers Benjamin Krause, Norm Weston, William C. Bradbury, Madelyn Byrne among others and actively commissions new music for the piano. Performances of works by many of these composers are featured in the CD ‘Fresh Piano’ he has recorded for the Innova label. Gach has also recorded the music of Chopin and Scott Joplin. He is also known for his engaging and informative lecture-recitals.

Zoom CAEnrico Lopez-Yañez is the Principal Pops Conductor of the Nashville Symphony where he
leads the Symphony’s Pops Series and Family Series. Lopez-Yañez is quickly establishing
himself as one of the Nation’s leading conductors of popular music and becoming known for his
unique style of audience engagement. Also an active composer/arranger, Lopez-Yañez has
been commissioned to write for the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and the Houston Symphony, and
has had his works performed by orchestras including the Detroit Symphony, Utah Symphony,
Ft. Worth Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic, Columbus Symphony, The Florida Orchestra
and Omaha Symphony.
Gunnar Biggs – Concert Hour
Zoom CAMandoBasso is a duo featuring Gunnar Biggs on bass and Bill Bradbury on mandolin. Biggs and Bradbury first came together as faculty colleagues working on projects at both Palomar College and Cal State San Marcos.
Biggs comes from a strong background in jazz and classical performance, Bradbury from a composition and computer music background. Their mutual love of Irish and traditional American music brought them together in this unique pairing of mandolin and bass. MandoBasso performances include mostly original compositions with
some traditional tunes, classical music, jazz and ragtime. MandoBasso's debut CD has been very well received.
Caro Pierotto – Concert Hour
Zoom CATen years ago, Caro Pierotto took a big chance. She put everything on the line in what turned out to be one of those fairy tale stories that Hollywood dreams are made of. It all began when she ditched a steady corporate paycheck, left behind family and friends, and traded her native Brazil for Los Angeles. Caro had it in her heart to write her own songs and to sing and perform. She put together a band, called it Marbella, and with the help of Latin Grammy Award-winning engineer and producer Alberto Lopez released Volta ao Mundo.
Michael Munson – Concert Hour
Howard Brubeck Theatre Howard Brubeck Theatre, 1140 West Mission Road, San Marcos, CADr. Michael D. Munson earned his Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music from the Eastman School of Music in 1992. Since 1994, Dr. Munson has been working at Palomar College when he started accompanying ballet classes, which he still does. Currently, he teaches applied piano, plays for ballet, and accompanies the Palomar Chorale and the Chamber Singers.
Larry Thompson – Concert Hour
Howard Brubeck Theatre Howard Brubeck Theatre, 1140 West Mission Road, San Marcos, CALarry Thompson has been recording and performing music in the Temecula area for ten years. He is a finger style guitar player and is known for his songwriting, which runs the gamut from soft and sad to humorous and satirical. His most recent album, “Melancholy Rose", was released in late 2020. He can be heard on Apple Music and Spotify. In his other life, he was an English/Drama teacher at Temecula Valley High School for 29 years.
